Thermal Bridging - The BCA now requires that steel framed structures have a thermal break between the steel frame and the exterior cladding. Thermotec has been active in providing solutions to customers in this area that not only provide the thermal break but also the wall insulation and vapour barrier using one product. Non Ozone Depleting Products - Now Australia has introduced special environmental requirements for insulation products on most commercial projects. Thermotec products comply with these requirements such as the GreenStar EMI-9 requirement which relates to products that contain no ozone depleting substances.
