Construction Joint Fill

Thermotec Construction Joint Fill is a closed cell polyethylene foam expansion construction joint filler specifically designed for use in: brick and block work, isolation joints, hinge joints, deck slabs, retaining walls, reservoirs, subways, bridges, basement structures, sewage treatment works, water channels and culverts.

Timber Floor Foam Underlay

Thermotec Impact foam can be applied to concrete plain or with self adhesive backing over waterproof membrane ( Refer to AS 3740: Waterproofing of wet areas within residential buildings.) Return edge strip of foam to walls to isolate mortar bed from adjoining walls. 50mtr x 1mtr x 5mm rolls.

Sealant Backing Rod – Closed Cell

Thermotec Sealant Backing Rod is compatible with all leading sealants, it delivers excellent rebound recovery. The round profile enables sealant to form the correct profile in order to deliver optimum movement and minimise the amount of sealant required. The closed cell structure ensures no moisture is absorbed.

Black Backing Rod – Closed Cell

Thermotec Closed Cell Black Backing Rod is manufactured from closed cell low density polyethylene foam. The product is manufactured in a range of sizes and has excellent compression and recovery properties with low visibility making it ideal for the glazing & facades industries.

Thermotec and Diameter Foam customers throughout Australia will now have access to a full range of top quality Australian made open and closed cell sealant backing rods, from a single Australian owned and operated source.

Construction Debonding Foam

Thermotec Construction Debonding Foam is a high quality LDPE closed cell foam of 55kg/m³ density used as a debonding foam on reinforcing steel. This product will protect against corrosion and minimise vibration during fabrication. It delivers impressive compression characteristics and is moisture resistant.

Plankfoam

Thermotec’s non cross-linked polyethylene foam planks are a proven product with a wide variety of applications. Plankfoam is lightweight, resilient, tough, waterproof and resists ageing, rotting and chemicals. Available in a full range of densities and thicknesses, Thermotec Plankfoam is re-usable and recyclable.
